 Hello everyone, this post has a slightly different theme than the others I have been doing. This time, I am going to talk about my extracurriculars and what I do to maximize them. Hope you enjoy! Soccer: I play both school and club soccer. As you know from my previous posts, I am on the second ECNL National Team at NCFC and I attend Durham Academy. For my club soccer team, I have been to ECNL Nationals twice; I have also won Player of the Year for the regional league. Lastly, I have been to New York with the Academy Team to play against NYRB Academy, PDA, and NYFC Academy. For school soccer, I was on JV as an 8th grader and made Varsity since freshman year. In sophomore year, I got second-team all TISAC. I have 8 goals, and 6 assists in my career, including a goal in the State Playoffs. Debate: I also do debate at Durham Academy. Greetings, I am 15-year-old Garrett Zhou, a Durham Academy High School student. I enjoy studying, exercising, playing soccer, and maintaining discipline in general. My history with soccer is fairly straightforward: I began playing when I was 7 years old, and at the age of 12, I was chosen for the ECNL regional Carolinas team as the top player in the state. I was selected to travel with 20 players from my club, NCFC, to play against NY Red Bulls Academy, PDA Academy, and NYFC Academy that summer. I'm currently with the second-ranked NCFC 09 ECNL club.
